Having worked alongside his talent for many years, when the opportunity arose to get him to join our team we jumped at the chance! His contribution is invaluable in developing our exciting fashion ranges season after season and with him on the team we know that we are providing the BEST in the fashion footwear industry.

Melissa Mason - National Retail Manager

Melissa is an absolute example of where hard work and talent can take you at Overland. After a successful career managing several of our busiest stores, she then became a Regional Manager where she flourished. In 2010, the opportunity arose for Melissa to become the National Retail Manager and she made an immediate impact on our store teams with her focus on results coupled with her wonderful communication and tireless work ethic.

Kim is one of our longest standing Regional Managers who came to us with a diverse background. Kim started off managing stores and quickly climbed the ladder into her current position.

Kim is a great role model to her team’s in-store and many others in the business. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge and is a wonderful balance to our team.

Kim takes pride in being her personal best each day and expects the same from those in her team, it is because of this that she does so well in her role as Regional Manager and is a true asset to the business.

Georgie is the newest addition to our Regional team and like the others, started off in stores managing successful teams. Georgie spent a short time in an Area Managers role with a team of 6 stores and quickly progressed into a full Regional role with a team of 11.

Georgie’s strength lies in motivating her teams through innovation as well as her keen passion for customer service. Georgie models our values in everything she does and brings fresh inspiration to us all.

Cathie loves to get out to the stores and sell alongside her teams and thoroughly enjoys interacting with our customers. Service is key for Cathie and this leads to success in all areas.

Jane is another success Overland success story; she started her career with us as part time Sales Associate and worked her way to a Managers position.

After a brilliant year as our Outlet Manager she was promoted into a Stock Integrity role where she further developed her understanding of our company’s inventory.

In 2008 Jane took on the challenge of managing our Mechandise Team and is an integral part of our office culture.

Brett Elliott - Store Operations Manager

Brett is one busy Ops Manager – his role consists of managing any refits and new store developments, stock integrity and loss prevention as well as overseeing our Distribution Team.

He does all of this with a smile and still manages to lend support to other departments and store teams when required. Nicknamed the Natural Disaster Manager he has been fundamental in our planning and coordinating in Chch as well as supporting the teams over the last year .

Today, under his guidance, our warehouse team is “top notch” and contributes to the culture and work environment in a significant manner, productivity within this team is outstanding!
